Spaghetti for the 750

Well after some work I got the Triple A pipes on the 750. I had to enlist the help of my friend Aaron and his handy lathe to get it done but we made it happen. The Triple A's are designed for the first generation 750 head which had 4 manifolds that attached with bolts. The bolts were countersunk into the flanges of the manifolds so you could get the pipe and it's clamp on to the manifolds. Of course in 1977 (the year of my 750) they revised the head and went to studs making it impossible for a nut on the stud to clear the early clamp style manifolds. So my dilemma, try to remove the studs possibly ruining my head or try to fashion something to make the manifolds work with the studs. Obviously I chose the later and bought some M8 "long nuts" from the local hardware store and then Aaron cut them down on the lathe so they would clear the clamps. A few hours of work and bingo bango it lives!!
