Finally made the trip to Chariton to meet a CB750 craigslist chopper guy. He had some unbelievable stuff in his garage; two Amen choppers, a Santee chopper, invader mags, tons of henry abe air boxes, and a bunch of other weird 70's stuff. I bought a front mag wheel that he thought was a Henry Abe and ended up being a Shelby Dowd! It came with a drilled 750 rotor and all the axle bits to bolt it right up. He also had advertised a set of "sidewinder" pipes on craigslist and upon seeing them I simply could not resist buying them. They are Triple-A Spaghetti pipes!! After some research I found out they only made them for two years and apparently they are stinkin rare!!

In other news I've been spending some time on my beater 550. This thing really sits right with the metzlers!
